Tapas Plate – Squids, Scallops, Portabella

Try a delicious recipe for Spanish tapas. A seafood served with a garlic and parsley souse will amaze you and your family. The Tapas Plate contains scallops, squids, portabella mushroom and optionally red quinoa. We propose a meal with max 3 table spoons of red quinoa per person. 3 spoons of this grains contains already 29 g of carbohydrates. They are known as healthy grains but you should be aware that they are also rich in carbohydrates so avoid big amounts of quinoa on your plate or even skip this ingredient.

Ingredients

  • 6 table spoons of red quinoa (optionally)
  • half pound of squids
  • half pound of scallops
  • 2 big portabellas
  • 2 slices of bakon
  • .
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1.5 cup of chopped parsley
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp salt

Method

Step 1

First prepare a parsley-garlic mixture. Chop parsley and garlic and mix with olive oil and salt. Let the mixture sit for awhile.

Step 2

Start cooking quinoa. This ingredient needs the most time to be cooked.

Step 3

Cut portabellas and put them on the fire.

Step 4

Cut bacon in small pieces and fry them separately ( use second pan)

Step 5

Use third pan and fry squids with the half of the parsley - garlic mixture. Rest of the mixture add to the mushrooms.

Step 6

Wait until juice will come out of the squids, then squids will absorb it again. Before all juice will be gone ( that's mean squids are done) fry scallops. squids

Step 7

Scallops need only 2-3 minutes to be done. Fry them with bacon.

Step 8

Serve all meals together.
